With a giggle and an outrageous mouth - perfect for things other than talking - Katie comes flying into Xaphan's life, upsetting centuries of self-inflicted misery. How can he stay true to the one he lost when a bubbly psycho, with mismatched eyes, keeps consuming his thoughts - and awakening his desire? So she was a tad bit nuts, Katie's insanity came in handy as the Devil's favorite problem solver. But killing's not on the menu when a dragon goes missing, and worse, Lucifer teams her up with Hell's grumpiest demon. Xaphan's rejection of her advances only makes her more determined to seduce him. And despite her violent reputation, a part of her is oddly tempted to let him live. Warning:This story centers around a grumpy demon holding on to an ancient vow and a perky psycho (with killer tendencies) who is determined to make him snap. There's cursing, melt-your-screen hotness, messed up religious tropes and snort out loud fun. If you already know you're going to Hell, then dive on in.

Fun!

They do love kill – both of them – and even have competitions to see can kill the most.

‘Natch these are demons who need killing but.

And any of the Damned who get involved and killed will just go back into the pit and be reborn as a new soul wiped clean of all sins, so not that bad maybe?

@GaiaLuc4ever: The countdown to the wedding from Hell is about to start... #ballandchain #welcometohell #hornedduckiesrule A catastrophe has befallen Hell. The great and mighty Lucifer has fallen prey to the most wicked of spells. He’s become…nice. Just using that word makes Gaia want to gag. The demon she fell in love with is not some pushover, some polite, candy-ass, nice guy. She wants her big, bad Lord of Sin back. Can she, along with the minions of Hell, find a way to break the curse? And will they do it in time to celebrate the wedding from Hell? Hell’s Bells are ringing The Wedding March, and Lucifer’s got just the outfit for the grand event.

Lucifer getting married ? well yes, especially to Gaia. But that said, I think Eve was getting tired when she wrote this one. Lots of mayhem but each book seemed to me to be getting shorter and the storylines less imaginative. After all, how many times can you have killing and wars and?

Sorry Eve!

Roasted at the stake as a witch while her lover watches, Ysabel sells her soul to the devil in return for revenge. A fair trade until her ex-boyfriend escapes the bowels of Hell and she’s forced to team up with a demon to fetch the jerk back.

Remy’s seen a lot of things during his tenure in Lucifer’s guard, but nothing can prepare him for the witch with the acerbic tongue – and voluptuous figure. Her mouth says ‘Screw you,’ but her body screams ‘Take me.’ What’s a poor demon to do when his heart makes things even more complicated by goading him to make her his...

So once upon the time, in Spain, they used to burn witches. Because they consorted with the Devil. They danced round fires naked and worshipped Satan. But they also cured ailments, helped in childbirth, and to prevent child birth(!), and also sold love potions. A balance of good Vs evil? Your choice really but 16th century Spain was VERY superstitious, think the RC Church and the black robed priests and they’re habit of torturing people if they didn’t like your behaviour. So if you didn’t happen to like your son consorting with a local girl, just point the finger and plenty of people enjoyed a good burning.

But if you were the witch you might just sign a contract with the Devil to make sure that the finger pointers went to hell – and ere put in prison. So when they escape you rather reluctantly take a partner to go and capture and return them – after which parks fly.

Eve Langlais writes an imaginative romantic comedy with plenty of unexpected twists – just wait until you find out who Satan is married to!

Great fun to read.

“Blowing up volcanoes and starting wars pales in comparison to making hearts explode and encouraging sinful, fleshly delights.” Lucifer’s candid one on one interview with HNN. Big deal, so he kept losing the oar. It wasn’t Adexios fault the Styx monsters were working against him, but tell that to his dad. Charon is determined to make a man out of him—whether his mother likes it or not—and Lucifer has offered to help. Help means sending Adexios in to the wilds of Hell with an Amazon warrior as his companion. The savage fighter doesn’t know what to think of her geeky partner. Adexios attracts Valaska with his brains instead of brawn. He also shows a cunning courage she can’t help but respect. They’ll need all the skills they can muster, though, if they’re going to prevail against the newest threat to Hell. With the wilds submerged by seawater, and monsters hungry for flesh, they’ll have to fight to stay alive, and learn opposites not only attract, they explode. (With passion, not guts, in case that wasn’t clear.) Welcome to the pit where the danger is never ending, the sea monsters are multiplying, and Lucifer is planning the wedding from Hell. “Love is but a game and I control the pieces.” Lucifer’s philosophy. Gaia's retort. "I told you not to tell people about the cuffs."

Charon (the boatman across the Styx) has a son, who is not a good boatman – but he is a whizz at maths and also makes friends with the river’s monsters.

In Hell, you do the opposite of the norm to gain bonuses and brownie points with Lucifer. So being rude is good.

Lucifer wants to win the competition of Worst Boss!

So when going to school you need to flunk out not come top of the class – but Adexios comes top of everything to shame of his mother and father…

But what he learns – both in school and out, especially his exotic creatures and their biology, proves useful when sent into Hell’s Wilds. With an Amazonian warrior no less.

A fun adult book with all the mythologies and as always a surprise from  Eve.

Are you wicked enough?

Evangeline is not a very nice witch, and she’s not afraid to show it. Her ruthless nature comes in handy as a problem solver until she lands a job where she’s forced to work with an uncouth shifter. He’s rude, cocky, totally unsuitable, not to mention part animal, but despite it all, she can’t help craving his touch.

Ryker is big, bad, and brash. When he’s partnered with a curvy witch, he does everything in his power to fight her allure. And fails. But he’s not too disappointed as he discovers wickedness has its uses, especially in the bedroom.

Vampires, a wedding from hell, and a cackling boss named Rumpelstiltskin, will these two wicked beings complete their job and admit, despite their stubborn nature, that they belong together?

The Wickedest Witch runs a ‘Solution’ agency – any problem solve – for a large fee.

Now Rumpelstiltskin has a daughter who he loves dearly and when she is threatened he calls in the WW. But he thinks he needs brawn too and calls in a cougar shifter to help and sparks fly in many directions.

If I was able to, I’d also wear a glamour that made me look taller and slimmer, but I just wonder am I really taller and slimmer? What would happen if you measured my height for instance? and what about my clothes? Are they real? Do I need 2 wardrobes? All questions I ponder…

Overall, another fun ride of a book with lots of mythical creatures.

I really liked this author’s style and proceeded to buy more of her books. I really must find out how the wedding happened – sounds good. An author with the style of Robyn Peterman but not as potty mouthed – less inventive language, but still lots of sniggers.
