There is a man in her bed and Sadie isn’t sure how she feels about that. The wolf she once considered a pet is now her mate. She needs time to process but Owen feels it is his duty as alpha to help them along into a happy marriage, starting with their honeymoon. For the next week, Sadie will only have Tyson for company as they hike through the Adirondack Mountains. Figuring out sleeping arrangements with only one extra-large sleeping bag will turn out to be the least of their problems as Tyson informs her that someone has been pursuing them since the very beginning.

Sadie has now married Tyson – now that he has been tamed and is no longer feral he can become a good mate for her.

Sadie, as explained in previous  books, was not born a werewolf and it is taking her a time to get adjusted to her new situation especially  now that Tyson is no longer feeling the need to be Fred the ‘tame’ wolf for her.

So a rather sweet romance when your doggy becomes your lover? Hmm is that even a nice way to think about your doggy?  But this is a fantasy novel when the dog is really a prince in disguise – he is just a dog occasionally – …..

Mira James is on a mission to smack her sister senseless. Recently, her life had come crashing down around her and she needed her sister. But contacting her was getting harder and harder to do. It hurt. Her best friend was barely in her life anymore and Mira was done with giving her space. All that was separating them now was a giant man with a smirking grin. The brute was going to get his ass handed to him if kept Mira from her sister. Owen Purcell was the Adirondack Pack alpha and had just met his match. Sadie’s younger sister was a sassy little thing and he couldn’t help but smile around the Rabbit. It may not be the wisest thing he’s ever done but there was chemistry between them that couldn’t be ignored. Getting her on board may not be the hard part, but keeping her around would be. Canidae has upped their antics and plan to hurt Owen where he feels it most. He’ll need to protect those in his pack and the little Rabbit that has found herself in the wolf’s den.

A good read in this great series. This one concerns the Alpha and his romance. KC Stewart writes a good shifter story with mystery and suspense included.

Note all romances are contemporary in style.

As a submissive, Zach stayed out of pack issues. He showed up when it was required, but for the most part, he stuck with those like him. When he comes across a business card of a man selling his kind, Zach has to step up or step aside.

She was a girl without a name, a pet to the man who owned her. Loneliness was the only thing she could count on in this life. Others like her came and were sold within twenty-four hours. There was no use getting attached when they would be leaving her alone once more. And then he showed up…

Zach brought her a name, an identity. He was nothing like the others before him and promised her freedom. It was a promise too good to be true.

You’ve been reading about slaves in our so-called civilised society in London, where he we have slaves of the more exotic kind. It seems, that even in London, people keep slaves to do their ‘dirty’ work eg housework and so on, but in this book they use shifters as exotic pets and train them to behave, and often use them sexually as well.

To obtain such a slave you need to go to an auction and here a member of the pack finds out about one and acquires a slave – to free her of course! and to close down the slave ring if he can.

Again a rather different story-line within this series and nicely written.

Vince is the only one she can rely on to save her from her worst possible self, but who will save him? Lee’s plight is of her own making. Can she find the redemption she requires or is forgiveness just too far out of reach?

When the geek has to come out of hiding. and be the person she really is – but who is that? And do other people recognise her?

A nice romance within this series looking at another of the  more minor characters.

Tyson of course, still has to perform his pack duties, which is again something that Sadie needs to get used to.

Enjoyable read as are all this series.
