Can you tell your readers something about why you chose this particular topic to write about?
a. What appealed to you about it?
b. Why do you think it is different and your approach is unique?
When I was 15. I wanted nothing more than to marry a long-haired Rockstar, so I wrote a book about it. This was my first Rockstar Romance and was a secret from everyone but two of my friends.
I didn’t marry a Rockstar, instead I worked in a management company for many Seattle Rock stars that you know and love. I also managed one of the biggest rock clubs in Seattle. It was an exciting time during the 90’s grunge years.
I left music to become a lawyer, but remained an avid romance reader as a means to escape from my very high-pressure work. When I discovered that there were other authors writing about rockers and that the “Rocker Romance” genre was a thing – I devoured every book I could find.
I love Rocker Romance because it gives you the best of all worlds. The lucrative world of celebrity, the sexy world of rock stars, and the glamorous world of millionaire/billionaires.
My approach is unique because I really know what I’m writing about – I’ve lived it. My stories are not based on anyone “real” but hopefully readers will really know what it feels like to tour, to become famous, to deal with the fallout of social media, to be on stage – and really to navigate fame and best of all find a HEA love.
